Dr. Praveen Athota
Dr. Praveen Athota is the Principal GP , an enthusiastic and dedicated professional with a real passion for working in Primary Care, enjoying the diversity, unique relationships and challenge of dealing with the unknown.

He keeps abreast of the latest clinical evidence, which enables him to strive to provide the finest holistic healthcare to his patients, and it also motivates him to develop innovative services for the future.

​He has been in General practice for 19 years in the UK and Australia. Trained in Advanced Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery and certified in Dermoscopy; an accredited skin cancer doctor for SCCA and with over 13 years of dermatology experience in the UK and Australia. He provides comprehensive skin checks with diagnosis and treatment of non-melanocytic and melanocytic skin cancers. He has also attained his certification in Family Planning and Vasectomy. He has recently started his own Medical Aesthetics Clinic with the support of Dermal Clinicians and nurses.

His passion extends beyond practicing medicine. He has in total 16 years teaching experience since his practice days in the UK ranging from GP registrars, pharmacists and undergraduate medical students training from Bond, Griffith and Melbourne universities and also involved with supervision of a non-VR GPs with regular work-based reviews, teachings and examination preparation.

Watceilia Varso manages the Practice Operations of GMCSC and is also a Complementary Therapist. She is a professional with broad experience over the last 23 years across multiple industries. She has held several Senior HR and General Management roles in regional and global settings. Over the last 12 years, she acquired significant knowledge in business transformation, strategic positioning, and people development. This has helped her design and implement specific and targeted training and coaching workshops in relation to change management, leadership development and team building.

Over the years, to complement her work around people and their personal progression, she embarked on supporting individuals with Social, Emotional and Mental Health challenges. She is a qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Psychotherapist, Practitioner of NLP, EFT, Time-Based Therapy, Emotional Intelligence, Executive Coach, Mentor and Trainer @ PRACTICE VISION.

She says "Hypnotherapy is an amazing tool for helping people overcome issues that they struggle to manage consciously. It also helps in a variety of challenges that relate to emotional well-being and mental health such as OCD, addictions, habits and anxiety-related illnesses. Being an NLP Practitioner, it complements the therapy options I can offer to my clients. Incorporating Emotional Freedom Technique is equally complementary, they happily nestle with each other all the time along with NLP"
As a professional with growth mindset, she constantly pushes herself to enhance her skills and knowledge through new challenges and experiences, which led to an interest in Medical Aesthetics which made her pursue her studies in Dermal Science and now practices as a Dermal Clinician, supporting the Medical Aesthetics Wing which is led by Dr Praveen Athota.​
